Hepatitis Awareness in Wajir – A Lifeline for Health
In a region where the daily fight for survival often
Climate change is already having a serious impact on human lives and health. We can’t afford to delay action any further.’
Climate and Health Connect (CHC) was established by Kenyan female medical doctors driven by a shared passion for addressing the intersection of climate change, health, and equity among vulnerable and marginalized communities in both Kenya and Somalia.
Our approach uniquely combines medical expertise, cultural understanding, and local knowledge to deliver impactful solutions at both local and national levels. We focus on the Northern and North-Eastern regions, areas significantly affected by harsh climatic conditions. These challenges disproportionately impact women, who often face cultural barriers that prevent them from openly addressing their health concerns.
As female doctors deeply embedded within these communities, we have cultivated a strong foundation of trust. This trust not only motivates us but also enhances our ability to implement sustainable, community-centered interventions effectively. At CHC, we are committed to creating meaningful change and empowering communities to build resilience in the face of climate and health challenges.

With a commitment to safeguarding safety and dignity, CHC seeks to empower local communities, advocate for inclusive policies, and drive sustainable solutions, ultimately contributing to a healthier, more resilient future for all.
CHC endeavors to raise awareness, foster understanding, and forge partnerships to mitigate risks and promote the well-being of vulnerable communities.
Disaster risks have risen over recent decades, and more extreme weather conditions in future are likely to increase the number and scale of disasters. At the same time, the existing methods and tools of disaster risk reduction, and climate risk management in particular, provide powerful capacities for substantially reducing risks and adapting to climate change.
We are proud to work with a network of dedicated partners who share our mission of creating positive change in the world.
Our Organogram is a strategic blueprint that clearly delineates the roles and responsibilities of each team member, fostering efficiency and accountability in our daily operations. It showcases the hierarchical relationships and communication flows, ensuring every stakeholder knows their position and how they contribute to the organization’s overall objectives.
The structure is designed to promote collaboration and streamline decision-making. By mapping out each department and its functions, the organogram serves as a reference point for understanding how tasks are distributed and how teams interact to achieve shared goals.
This visual guide not only enhances clarity for internal teams but also builds confidence for external stakeholders by demonstrating the professionalism and organization underpinning our operations. Whether it’s leadership making strategic decisions or team members executing day-to-day tasks, our organogram is the backbone of our seamless functionality.
Our approach uniquely integrates medical expertise, cultural insights, and local knowledge to bring about meaningful change at both local and national levels, particularly in the North and North-Eastern regions.
